I-22 Iryda
Started moreless 5 yrs ago, but assembled only the fuselage and wings together...
...now dug it out of its temporary box and finally decided to finish it
Interior must be scratchbuilt (except for Pavla VS-1 seats), same story applies to the undercarriage
sketches of the cockpit parts, to be filled with instruments' decals (P/F - front, T/R - rear cabin)
The lower copy is the kit's instruction (sic!)
Made the plug lately
Nose fixed and antennas added
Small elements (whatever they are) added as well
Painting
Result of the first turn
Result of the two turns of masking/sprayin/demasking. I'll have to respray the sand yellow again, I think (it likes the maskol too much)
Reinforcements have arrived! 🙂
Undersides first (they will be not so much exposed)
I think it's good enough and I'm happy with it
Time for the white ones...
Not bad either 🙂
The goal...
... and 1st attempt ...
... and a 2nd was needed so the outer pylons are correctly shaped 🙂 (tail protector in the background)
2*UB-16 + 8 bombs stolen from Bilek's two-seat Fitter
The last mile

Vacuform by Marfix, the sole available I-22 in 1/72. Second ever vacu attempt, first - P-39 flew into the trashbin v.quickly, it was like 15 yrs ago. This time I'm gonna be more patient. The idea is to finish it in the SP-PWE markings.
