Forgot to photograph the cockpit before adding the canopy - hope you forgive me that 😛

Yes Mr D, I went for the fluid as I found I haven't stocked my stash with the masks for this particular kit. Hope they will work well enough.

Well done so far, Łukasz!
That screw in photo 2 looks like a worm that is in the process of metamorphosis inside a sabre dog 😛

Finished the bugger. The last stretch was full of problems with antiglare panel corrections.
The most important lesson learned - buy the masks before painting, my Eyeballs Mk.I are not good enough to work as a substitute.
More pics tomorrow, in the sunlight.

Beautiful work Ł!
I have one in 48th, it will be as rare as yours, but more exotic: a Fillipino! Yeah I know, a boring silver bird, with unique roundels.
Looking forward to the sunny photos and your next project.

Thanks mates! 👍
@Mr D: These are the markings of Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, for most of the time of its existence, ruled by Maršal Josip Broz Tito. As some used to say he liberated Yugoslavia without the help of the Soviets, at least their support was not significant enough and Yugoslavia was too far from USSR to block Tito's policy of non-alignment. To underline his independence he started to deal with the West and bough these Sabres among other stuff. These were probably the only Sabres with red stars on them 🙂
@Maciej: Filipino should look great too, though not in my scale 😛

Thanks Lukasz.... I didn't recognise them.....nice markings 👌
I remember Bit about it.
My Grandparents went on holiday to the former Yugoslavia back in 80's.
And we used to get the little Yugo cars here in the UK.
Was bit confused about the red star on a F-86 🤣
Really nice work n enjoy the build updates 😁👍👍

Thanks y'all, it was enjoyable quickbuild. The kit has many simplifications, but it's fun to build, recommended 👍
