Łukasz Gliński AutorWelcome and enjoy the latest update. Canopy has been masked (what would I do w/o the Aizu tapes?) and I primed it twice. Hope to spray it around the weekend or next week.

Łukasz Gliński AutorThanks. The canopy wasn't that bad actually. OK, except for the windshield part. The rest was done using stripes of Aizu tape. For the side windows I used two single 2,5mm stripes, placed along the fuselage and cut afterwards to fit each of the side windows. Top of the canopy is a bit tricky, as the windows get smaller towards the fin. So I placed two thinner Aizu stripes (0,7 or 1mm), overlapping each other and then cut them similar way as the side windows. That's the whole story 🙂

Łukasz Gliński AutorMain spraying completed, the blue/silver border needs minor retouches, but I'm satisfied with the result. First I used Hataka's silver, but it's too translucent for me, so I went for the leftovers of Mr hobby H8 which I found in my stash 🙂

Łukasz Gliński AutorThx Dave, it's not that bad, goes rather quick. Of course washing will take me some time as I always find the panel lines too shallow😉 Aside from that it's really a quickbuild kit.

And once again, to my disappointment, I have to admit: washing is my weakest point, I still can't learn proper pin-washing 🙁

Daniel KlinkWonderful result Lukasz.. This is a rather old kit and especially the canopy is not that easy to paint.
