you could do that, the fit is okay,
only the plastic is a bit softer, with the colours I looked at the Wingnut Junkers.

Very nice! Have started that kit to, project is on SM. Where so you find the REXx exhaust?
Only the wheels are a bit dark, to mix carbon black into the rubber was invented much later, so a light grey will do it.

I found the REXx at a Czech shop. I´ll look for the link
