As on it's flight from Taliedo-Linate (Milan) to Guidonia (Rome) on November 30th, 1941.
Inspired by a visit to the Italian Air Force Museum at Vigna di Valle near Rome in the summer of 2017, where the other prototype NC.4850 is on display.

Ein luftansaugendes, thermojetgetriebenes Flugzeug aus Italien von 1940 - ich fass'es nicht - was es alles gibt - bzw schon einmal gab 🙂

Not my scale, but I didn't knew nothing about this jet. So very interesting, and I know it will be a great work. 👍

I'm with Rui, never heared of this beast...an italian WW2 jet??

@Alexander G.: Yes, there were two flying prototypes. I only learned of its existence a few years ago, too.

@Thomas Ricci: It's slowly coming along. The decals are applied and next will be some really subtle weathering.

I'm not sure What you mean? Are you looking for reference material on the Campini Caproni?

@Bernhard: Ich weiß gar nicht was du meinst 😄! @Oliver: Ja, es ist ein Traum jetzt nach Feierabend die Möglichkeit zu haben, ein wenig zu basteln!

Today the Italian newspaper from December 1941 arrived that I had ordered on ebay. Just 15 EUR + shipping. Together with a postcard profile of the plane I'm now looking for a nice display idea (without cutting the newspaper in pieces).

Sehr aussergewöhnlich , für meinen persönlichen Geschmack aber zu wenig Farben und sonstige Details.

Nice build - and I like this extraordinary design of the plane. Cool.
