MAC FELSING
Been working on this now for a couple of weeks. Getting my model room set up in my new digs. Finding my tools and paints, etc. I applied Chaos black primer to the Frame fret ( It was molded in red. Actual pictures show the frame in black. ) Have most of the frame and steering mechanism assembled. Rear springs need to be added.. Gas tank needs primer and aluminum paint with black strapping. Need to primer the engine using MIG AMMO medium green primer and will paint the engine with MIG Euro green 1 I think. It's the closest color to the FS number for Packard engines. Stripped of the chrome on the valve covers - which will be main engine color - and the transmission and oil pan which will also be aluminum. Considering this kit's age, the quality is good. There are some sync holes and pins marks. which I sand or fill as needed. The fit on some of the parts is a little wonky, but not too bad. Pictures to follow.
