Thanks Mates! 🙂. Holger, I thought the kit was pretty good, and is an easy build OOB. But there are a couple of problems that keep it from being "excellent" without buying aftermarket parts: 1) the surface detail is really good, but it looks like most (or all) the early Jagdpanthers had zimmerit (which this kit doesn't); 2) there are no tow cables or grill screens; 3) the tracks do not have "hollow" guide teeth (which is wrong); 4) worse, the tracks do have a deep injector pin mark on the outer surface. This was a killer for me, because I didn't want to fill and sand 172 links 🙁. The kit provides a "late" gun mantlet, so you might be able to do a later version without zimmerit, but I'm not sure that would be accurate with the monoblock gun barrel. There may be other modification needed to do a late version, but that would take some research. The kit has several "extra" parts that may support the late version (like different sprockets, etc.) but again, it would have to be studied. Hope that helps! 🙂

Thank you, George! Yep that helps! The kit tracks scarred me, too! LOL
Do the Friuls fit well on the drive sprocket from the kit?

Holger, you have to clean-up them up well, but after that, the Friuls fit perfectly! 👍
