Very nice work! I would like to make one like this in a burned out state after crash landing...

Nice one. I do hope with you they will re-release these beauties. I think the Fokker Dr.I is still available in 1/72 and the airco DH.2 in 1/48. When you really want, Brengun also has an Airco dh-9 I think, but in 1/144 scale, but this one i a whole other level... and Jasmine models also have a Ho-229 and a F6F-5 Hellcat as a stripdown

The strip downs has its own charme! I recommend soldering, it is much more robust. My Piper was falling from the bench, with only a very little damage. My Storch is on the todo list, and the Camel has to be finished. The others are done.

Tom ...
What a super cool kit. Fascinating! I'm a little confused about the "crash". Does it fly?

Not intentionally. It was in a box on a fireplace mantle and got knocked off, box and all. Fell a couple of feet. When I opened the box. I had pieces.
S__t happens

Now I am rebuilding it. Almost complete, just a couple of more things to re-attach, and I also need to re-build the acrylic cover that goes over the base and it can go back out on display and maybe to a couple of contests

Photo Etched structural model of the German WWII Reconnaissance aircraft.
Great model! Eduard made 5 or six of these kits. They are out of production. I wish and hope they bring it back into production. In the meantime, if anyone has one in their stash they would like to get rid of, let me know!
