Following that one. Pitty that you had to learn your "yellow" lesson the hard way too. Wellcome to the club. 🙂 Now second start. I cross my fingers for a speedy progress. Nice subject anyway.

@ Augie: Well... there's always the scratchbuilding approach: Book: Scratchbuilding Aircraft (by Megas Tsonos) - just kidding! :0 @ Wouter: Keep up the good work! I hope in the end you will have both the 215 and 415 in Greek markings... and both of them in other liveries too! That will make an impressive shelf in your showcase! 👍

I painted the next one yesterday, a Greek CL-15MP. This version has a radar-nose, a camera under the wing and various sensors so it can be used for search and rescue. Fortunately, this one is struggling less against its paint coat. I masked it even more and there was only little seepage. I think that the problem lies in the hundreds of rivets, which make it very difficult to get a completely sealed mask. But this one only needs a bit touching up.

This is unique! Looks very good. I first saw one in Greece years ago. During one storm on the island of Thassos, they flew over us. The next morning it passes again. Me while drinking tea on the balcony. One spun and took water right in front of me. By the way, a few days ago I watched two 415s working in Italy 300 meters from me. I took a lot of pictures. I have already ordered a model and I will start in September. If anyone wants pictures I can upload.

Continue to share. Nice subject. Some not too heavy weathering will breath some more life into your planes and will make them look less toylike. 🙂

Great subject Wouter. 👍 I think I must have seen the Greek subjects when landing at Thessaloniki on holiday recently. A nice neat row of three or four yellow and red aircraft parked on hard standing between the runway and the taxiway I think. Would make sense given how dry it is up in the north. No photos sadly.
Following with interest.

Glad to see your two Greek 415s (and the Canadian 215) finished! Congrats! 👍 (If I get it right, is there still a 215 remaining?)

Yes there is still a 215 to be built. In fact, this is the one I saw in Greece and which I planned to build. So lest best, but first some other kits to finish

Looking forward to seeing what a bit of weathering will do
