Bell X-1 Machbuster

Album image #1
This model had two clear fuselage parts to be able to show the fuel tanks and the engine. Normally I build aircraft in an operational status, but this time it seemed a waste to hide everything. I decided to use the left clear fuselage half, because when placed in my collection, the closed version would be visible at first sight. But all parts are glued to this left side and although I was careful with the glue I used, it was still visible. Then my wife suggested to start anew, now using the right clear side!

Now I managed to put everything in place, without glue stains. I added some piping from the fuel tanks to the egine.
