I haven't really spent much time on this one, this Airfix RAF HAR.3 kit still uses the same mould as the old SH-3 Apollo recovery kit of yesteryear and it's not ageing well, time for retirement me thinks and a new mould done

Realy nice one. 👍
It´s a pity that the pictures are this small.
I´ve got this kit in its older Airfix-Outfit.
It was one of the first models I´ve ever built.

I did the Apollo recovery version when I was very much younger as well, one of the nicer kits of the RAF HAR.3 version was the Fujimi kit, be nice if Cyber Hobby releases an RAF Sea King

This kit needed a fair bit of work around the engines area, with plasticard needed to fill large gaps between the engine covers and fuselage, also a fair amount of filler needed for deep sink holes, cockpit canopy and glazing was a poor fit as well
