Spitfire for Bishops Lydeard Mill

This Sptifire is meant to hang from the ceiling in the Bishops Lydeard Mill museum, so not much inner detail will be visible

Finally finished the model. This year we finally have the opportunity to go to England with our caravan, so it was time to finish the Spit 

I even painted the pilot, which isn't my favourite part, but it is going to end up hanging from the ceiling and a flying plane needs a pilot. 

I really learned lot the last 40 odd years. Compare the two Spits! 

This kit was my first 1/24 model, a present from my then girlfriend, now my wife for almost 42 years. She did the pilot and the cockpit, I did the engine and the structure. All handpainted!
