Sprayed some clouds on the stand ☁️ 

Despite the kit not having many parts, half of them were missing. Found some tubing in my junk drawer to make the pitot 

 

Glued it back together again & priming and sanding 

Had leftover krylon semigloss white enamel from a home project 

Masked the control surfaces. Did the trick where you paint with the base color after masking to try to prevent bleeding. 

Painted control surfaces came out perfect  

 

 

Scan of decals 

Disaster strikes. Despite being coated, the decals shatter due to age. 

I sent a scan of the original decal sheet to sts decals and had them make me replacements. It cost me $25. They came out great but they are very thin and I don’t have the best decal skills. 

Bottom half decals installed, some from the old sheet, some from the new. Have a really hard time getting things in the right place. 

Top half decalled  

Working on tiny details.
