Thanks for posting Gunther. Interesting displays and I especially like the racks with all the different elements of the different uniforms displayed. Gives a good overview of all the pieces needed to be carried by the average soldier.

One of the thing is that most people forget that during the Battle for Ypres, not only the Commenwealth troops were present, but also French troops. The French were also those who lost more soldiers per day than any other force. And it was the French who used for the first time gas as a weapon.
