Martin von SchreckensteinI am very conflicted about the Academy kit. A lot of work for questionable result but as my decal mule build got repurposed as a toy for my daughter, I see it a lot and I have to say some details really keep this kit relevant (strangely accurate canopy cover)
Very interested in what you make of it🙂

Edit: I have the 1:48 Academy Tomcat (12253) and that kit is not good. I am concerned about the panel lines atm, which seem too faint here and there.

Patrick HagelsteinThe base kit got me fooled as well as I presumed it to be a Hasegawa kit... Looking into it, it is indeed a rebox of the 1988 Academy kit.

Martin von Schreckensteinhaha. yes. what I meant to say is that this kit can still be build into a beautiful tomcat given enough skill and patience. Remembering your previous builds Łukasz I am certain you have plenty of both🙂
