Mosquito FB.VI 'Amiens Prison Raid'

Although it's an old kit, the fuselage halves seem to fit rather nice. 

I put a little more detail in the cockpit and closed the slots were the wings later fit. 

The cockpit was rather empty, so I scratchbuilt a little with the help of some pictures in books and on the internet. 

Some parts needed to be removed. I also added a sort of radio with the connected wiring. It's probably not completely like the original but it will do for me. 

The engine nacelles were glued to the wings and needed some help to fit. The Mossie will be in flight, so the gear doors are closed. 

Added a couple of gun barrels to it. 

Both F/O's got to take a look at their new office. And they liked it.

Painted the details. 

Fitted the F/O's and made the cockpit section ready for assembly. 

The fuselage, wings and cockpit aasembled and glued together. And of course I knocked one of the gun barrels off...
Some small sink marks had to be filled.
