That's true, I have to admit it. Probably next time I'll add some yellow gunze thinner to the blue one (as the gunze layers underneath were already grainy, it's not the revell's aqua color fault this time)

Dry fitting day today - what worries me is the dark shade of white Matchbox decals in comparison to the white paint (e.g. on the engine cowling). Does anybody have some tricks how to level it somehow maybe?

well, I decided to respray the green and white stripes - but the result is not astonishing, revell masking foil turned out to be v.strong

Applied the fuselage stars & stripes and currently I'm trying to brushpaint the roundels around them so they fit the green bands (and the roundels at the same time)
Still hardly keeping myself from washing it completely and applying simple blue scheme...😉

Slowly approaching the finish line - two aerials broken off and were replaced by the needles. What is still missing - propeller top must be grey and I'll have to do the rigging.

@Bart: thanks for your support, without the hint to overpaint it (and the appearance of the Aizu masking tapes on the Polish market) I'd have scratched it already few months ago 🙂 I also should have acquired the H&S Ultra earlier, then the paint surface would've looked much smoother I think
