For bath-time Marines or those who like to try and make a silk purse out of a sows ear...it is MOTORIZED (motor/battery box/wiring all included)!!! One-piece full hull, zero internal detail in the rear docking bay, zero detail on the stern, Some sprues carry a copyright date of 1997, and look very similar to Dragon kit sprues (I don't own a Dragon/Italeri/Revell to make a proper comparison, but from other photographs....?). Mini Hobby Model have also released USS Saipan (no. 80802) which I would guess is the same model in a different box with different decals.
No greater love has a modeller for his/her fellow modeller than he lay down his bank-balance for them!!!
