Thanks 🙂 The figure came with the kit. It still looks reasonably good for its age. My painting could be better...

No need to hide your light under a bushel. I find the figure really well done - and who of us wouldn't have room for improvement? Anyway the 223 looks very convincing with it's Dunkelgelb over Panzergrau finish. Every time I look at the pics I kinda expect Agedabia or Marsa el Brega to turn up in the background.

Thanks again Jörg! Though I definitely need to practice more. I have a few dioramas planned that will need a lot of them... As for the background....time to practice photo editing as well I suppose 😄

Thank you Dave! The rocks were made from plaster mixed with pigments. I just poured a generous portion into a cup then broke it into suitable pieces by hand once it was dry. The wooden base is a cheap picture frame. I glued the rocks onto it with white glue and then added a layer of fine sand on top. The dry weeds are something that grows around here, our dog once had it stuck to her leg...modelling inspiration can happen in the most unlikely places.... 😄

Amazing! Tiny nitpick though: the piping on armoured car uniforms was yellow, IIRC, pink was for tank crews.

Thanks everyone!
The Waffenfarbe on armoured Recon seems a little confusing. I was under the impression that all armoured units had pink, but apparently this was only from 1943 onwards. I need to do some more research....
