Painted the yellow bands and exhausts today. In the meantime I'm wondering why on all pictures I can the additional small inlet under the fuselage just in front of the undercarriage bays (featured also in Techmod schemes), but not in the kits (neither this Airfix nor in the old Heller one). Any idea what is it for?

Wash is drying (when will I find a perfectly dilluted wash that flows on its own?😉 ). Next I need to correct the main antenna, clean the wash, add some smoke and streaks.

I didn't install the antenna, cause not all Mk.IIcs have it and I wasn't sure. The fuselage roundel is probably located too high (most of 309th Hurries have it in lower place). And might be that it should be weathered more. That's all I think.
Moving on to P.7a. 🙂
