Red Arrows Folland Gnat T.1 Series 1 - Old Tooling
A nostalgic build

I picked up this old tooling Gnat on eBay as much for nostalgia as anything because I made one when I was a boy over 60 years ago. I was curious about the standard of an old kit. This one is probably 1980s and is very basic with only 34 parts. It is moulded in red plastic. The moulding is not bad with only a little flash but the parts fit is not brilliant. It took about an hour and a half to assemble including about 20 minutes looking for an undercarriage leg that the carpet monster tried to take! Now to let it set and then prime and fill.
