Revell 1968 Mustang
Bullitt Movie Car

Yesterday afternoon I finished my interpretation of the 1968 Mustang driven by the King of Cool, Steve McQueen in the movie Bullitt. I started with Revell's 2-in-1 kit released a few years ago, and despite being a styrene version of their Die-cast kit, it builds really nicely. SMS Surfacer Grey was used to prime the body, then it was painted in Zero Paints Highland Green. Even though the movie car was deliberately toned down to avoid reflection in the cameras, I wanted mine shiny, so it received 3 coats of SMS 2K Clear coat. The interior and chassis is SMS Jet Black, and the engine block is SMS Blue Angels Blue.
