Well I started to build this Otter as a stopgap as I was waiting for a metal gear for my 1/24 Typhoon. I already built a Dash-8 and wanted to add another Wideroe. The first disappointment was that I didn't have the decals for the version in the museum in Bodo. I discovered that there are at least four different schemes, with even some variants. So I decided to build the third scheme, since I had those decals in stash. The model is clearly an old model so the fit wasn't to good. It was also the first time I sprayed a plane all white with my new airbrush and this turned out more difficult than I thought. But I finished the model and wanted to add the decals. Only then I discovered that the decals were supposed to cover the whole tail! So I had to remove the elevators, which almost make the fuselage crack and at least some joints gave way 🙁
So glueing and painting and decalling and than I got the final result. I decided to build the kit soob and not to add all the missing antennas. In the end I'm satisfied w
