Welcome, but I'm not surprised at all😉
That's going to be a quick almost OOB build (except for the canopy).

Welcome everyone, I decided it is time to build some classic KP kits 🙂
@Maciej: Childhood dream, isn't it? Woody

I've had my share of KP kits built. Of them 4 survived, a 48th Su-25, a B-35, a La-7 and a Spitfire, the latter probably tested by my nephews hands, fate unknown.

In my case I have 2 of the ones I built as a small kid, namely Yak-23 and MiG-15. I used to fly them around the house and garden, so they lost a lots of details😉, but my grandma stored them later on.
After all most of them (old KP kits) are little nice kits with not so many parts 🙂
Currently I'm in progress of blending the vacu canopy into fuselage as it seems bit too short.

Small update: decals are on (wingwalks are the white decals painted grey) and I work on the undercarriage currently.
Macro really has no mercy, the line dividing the fuselage halves in the front is not visible in the reality (at least to me)😉

Great looking Yak, Lukasz! The NMF is very nice! I have the old KP MiG-15 UTI in the stash to do one of these days.

Thanks y'all 🙂
Thanks Maciej for your quick answer, I intend to build a (civilian!) Polish one using the SH kit at some point in the future 🙂

Thanks folks. Currently trying to rig the thing. I was advised to use Mig's 0.01 thread, but it's behaviour is extremely unpredictable and frustrating.
29 September 2019, 19:43

Have you tried the Uschi rigging thread? I used their 0.01 superfine some time ago and it worked pretty well.

I assume this is the very same thing. The point is it's too tine for me - I have to try the thicker ones.

Finished! (for the price of this huge CA blob on the main antenna) Now it's time for Avia CS-199 🙂

That Flora turned out really sweet! I really like these first generation jets, they all looked so different from each other. Nice build! BTW what is the hangar backdrop in the pictures? It looks really convincing.
30 September 2019, 16:48

Thanks Simon & Thomas
The hangar is made by Polish company GPM, I built it some time ago (Hangar | Project by Woody (1:72)) and keep on using it as a background. Some people here are already bored by it, so I have to build the Eurofighter hangar soon 😉
