Łukasz GlińskiSo, after the Tamiya decal softener cause the dark blue colour to bleed from the tail I managed to fix it.
Heard Sir Tom Jones singing on the radio about fighting fire with fire and I decided to try cleaning the mess up using the very same softener ((MarkFit Super Strong) and believe me or not - it worked! (combined with earbuds)
Not 100%, perfect but thin layer of brushed white acrylic paint did the rest of the job, phew!
Still, if you ever decide to build this kit in the same livery, keep masks away from the rudder root, leaving silver or white part for the tail flag - it's gonna make your life way easier!
In my case couple of trimmed decal stripes in white and red were needed to cover the colour separation edge in this difficult place.
Started the rest of the decalling tonight - there are some minor errors in the instruction, but I could easily spot them.
The door decals need to be cut, they must have been based on the real thing, not the kit, being either to tall or to small (in case of luggage doors).
PS. The instructions don't show the white belly, needed to spray it before decalling, something worth remembering 🙂

Łukasz GlińskiThank you all, I was very lucky to be able to fix the MarkFit leaks.
Most of decalling is done, except for the engines. Why? Well, the engines definitely stand out - their fit is bad and I'm still working on it.
And of course Karaya forgot to mention how the front of wing roots should be painted as well 🙁 Hence the glossy paint visible on the last pic, it's Orange Line Hataka brush painted, quite a challenge.
Thinking how to fake the landing lights that are located there....
