Thank you, Gertjan! I´ll do my very best! Fortunately i can build the whole day´s without spending time at the office! That week is "for modeling only"!🙂 And when the kit is as good as you say, i must not be concerned, that this will be the first Helo since i re-begun this wonderful hobby!

Hey Holger! Have you had a chance to review Werner's commentary on this build? I did and it almost scared me away! But, just how hard can it be, right? It's just a collection of plastic pieces that need to be glued together! (Famous last words.) Start posting pictures, like yesterday! 🙂

@Frank: Leider kann ich in dieser Woche aus beruflichen Gründen keinen Urlaub nehmen. Entweder komme ich Freitags und bleibe bis Samstag, oder ich mache eine Tagestour. Wenn ich für eine Nacht ein Zimmer bekommen kann geht Freitag klar. Ich bin da als Seefahrer a.D völlig anspruchslos. Hauptsache warm und Nachts raschelt nix. Man sieht sich. 🙂

I sniffed through my sparesbox and found some leftover pe´s and will try to use them in this build. I´m anxious to finally begin it! Doesnt matter if it fits or not, I need a finished Kiowa at home! Its just a beautiful helo! Its "Heel wat besünners"!

Today I had my personal "Stalingrad"...
The MRC moldings showed a lot of bad fit around the cockpit and observation electronics. I didn't had to sand it, I had to grind it down without remorse! But nevertheless, I will not give up!
The clearparts got some maskol and tomorrow I'll manage to assemble the weaponry. I swear, I go nuts with this fkn kit if the fit won't get better!
To my advantage, the building with Thomas and Frank is a great relieve and we all learned from each other ( ok, I learned the most...)!

By the way - all participants won't forget the Kiowa, because of one experience we made during the meeting "Wolfgang, NOT during the holidays!", but I think, Holger can explain this better.....
