Finally finished the R2/AMT Chevy Vega Funny Car this evening. I started it 14 months ago, and it's spent a fair bit of that time in it's box. It's been painted 3 times and stripped twice due to not being happy with it. But it's done now!
A typical R2/AMT repop with the usual issues of fit, it still builds up OK.
Apart from the body colour, (Tamiya TS-22 Light Green), decanted and airbrushed over SMS White Surfacer, all other paint is exclusively SMS. Decals were applied and the body then sealed with SMS 2K Clear.
All kit chrome was stripped and treated to SMS Metallics and Cold Chrome. There's Infinite and Advance colours in there too.
