Thanks everybody. The individual plastic track links from Hobbyboss (I remember now) really helped this old Heller model.

Thanks Kevin and Christian! 🙂 The old Heller kit still has some life in it. The little anti-tank gun that comes with the kit was a prioject all its own... French Canon 25mm | Album by Gbmodeler

nice... really nice... the Hobbyboss tracks can really save your day...
But where did you get the chains? they look just as the ones hanging from the real ones...

Thanks Fabian 🙂. The chains are from a craft store where they sell trinkets to make jewelery and such. They sell assorted sizes of chain in various colors (bright brass, silver, steel, burnt metal, black, etc.) I bought burnt metal and paint it rusty. Two dollars worth may be a lifetime supply 😉

Wow! great job George how did you do the Cammo? i have a little polish Tankette I'm working on and want to do a similar Cammo pattern and I've been a little perplexed on how to approach it

Thanks William and Clifford! 🙂.
William: I airbrushed on the base color (tan) and either hand painted the green or masked with silly putty and airbrushed (getting old - can't remember). The lines around the colors was hand painted (I do remember that!). If I did it today, I'd use a fine point "sharpie" pen. They make various colors, but brown and black are the most likely suspects to use for those sort of lines. I did that on my Motor Machine Gun Service Ford (Ford of the Motor Machine Gun Service (1917) | Album by Gbmodeler (1:35)). Think I can do better in the future 🙂

thanks for the advice George did you use a dull coat to calm down the glossiness of a sharpie

William, yes, definitely use the dullcoat!
