Man! I love that view😮
6 November 2013, 13:07
Holger Kranich
Yeah Steve, the view is unpayable! Especially when here is good weather...
But who do i tell that? As a child of the British isle, you know what rain and fog means😢!
6 November 2013, 13:12
Steve Wilson
Aaaaah!!! yes...
Rain and Fog. Know em! well!
Driven Coaches and Buses in a fair few Pea Soupers and cloudbursts in my time.
But all said and done, they also can add so much ambience to an already beautiful scene.

Ooh, what a hide out! Looks cosy Holger, but it is tooooo clean for a modeler's bench - I am sure you will take care of this soon 🙂
Love that chair and the relaxing view - When are you going to open the champaign for the well-wishes party ?
6 November 2013, 16:40
Frank Krause
Mmmh, lots of space for Scalemates, which bring a sleeping-bag and some bottles of beer...😉 👍
So we will hopefully have a guided tour in March next year!

Hey guy´s and Augie!
Thank you all very much for the nice comments and wishes!
As you maybe noticed, the background of my bench often changed. But now i have my own room where i can splatter around with paints , glue or blood, sweat and tears...😢😢😢

Nice model room. I hope it does not get too hot in your attic
11 November 2013, 18:24
Holger Kranich
Thanks John, i hope so, too!😢 But if it becomes too hot, i can make it over the dike and take a bath in the mudflats!😢😢
11 November 2013, 18:26
Holger Kranich
BTW, Michael, have you seen pic 9 and the sticker on the screen? Have a look, you will remember...😢
11 November 2013, 18:36
John Thomas
You have a nice view out of your window as well. My model room is very small about 45 square feet and it is in my basement. I to have just redone it. my old lay out just was not working. I had to stand to work at my bench and I could only work for a short period of time. Now my new lay out I can seat and have better lighting.
11 November 2013, 18:39
Holger Kranich
Oh yes, John, its important to feel comfortable and light is a keyfactor in our hobby! Good that you can do it better now!😢
11 November 2013, 18:42
Hunter Cummins
It kinda is here for me cause I cannot buy kits online and no hobbyshows near me and cannot drive far because of work and some people wont sell their tiger 1's lol and my local hobby shop does not deal with dragon nor tamiya 🙁
11 November 2013, 18:55
Holger Kranich
Oh damn, this is a pitty, Hunter!
11 November 2013, 19:10
Hunter Cummins

Pittsburgh is a medium size town in the US. However there are only four hobby
shops in the area. I buy most of my kits online or at contest. I only go to the local hobby shops for paint or glue and a kit every so often.
12 November 2013, 13:32
Hunter Cummins
Hey john iwould like to finallymeet someone from here on scale mates🙂 and were you at the ipm show on march 22?!?!
