I just finished dark green and night black today, will upload pics tomorrow. Plan for the rest of the week is to do some painting corrections and paint the undercarriage.
PS. Hatakas C are lovely, but I'm bit fed up with masking😉

i see you work with Hataka, too. I like ´em very much but face clogging at the needle in the past. I tryed to avoid it with Vallejo´s flow improver. That helped.

Łukasz GlińskiThx for your input Holger, I use their C-paints with their dedicated orange thinner and the flow is awesome, no improvers needed so far.

Łukasz GlińskiI have to improvise - I thought of brushpainting them using the Humbrol 118 or 117 as a base, then some very thinned dark grey to match the colour and then Hataka C to blend it.

Łukasz GlińskiDecalled, still working on the spots. The ones on the tail have been covered in black and alu. In the meantime I started to look for AN/ALQ-87s and I almost was ready to buy the Hasegawa weapons set No.4, but my spare box didn't dissapoint me and they were still there 🙂

Łukasz GlińskiThanks Holger, I'm also happy with the painting results. However I already found 3 minor things to fix: the Takhli F-111As seem to have a black anti-glare panel not mentioned in ESCIs instructions. I made too big black triangles in front of wing roots, will have to overpaint them with tan. And it turns out top antennas were white in Vietnam War sorties.

Łukasz GlińskiThx John. I started to fix the stuff and also decided to remove those black-shape-decals on the nose sides as they don't fit the panel lines at all. Going to get the same effect using the black wash.

Łukasz GlińskiWashed it yesterday and while varnishing, the matt varnish reacted with the layers underneath in the middle of the anti-dazzle panel. Sanding didn't help, will have to remove the paint and do it again.
