It's different. But I have to say that difficult: my habilities for maksing have been stressed too far, just becaise Vallejo metal paints have little appreciation for masking tape. ???? ????

I have not had any trouble with Tamiya masking tape over Vallejo metal paints. I do tend to let paint dry a couple days before masking, painting other colors, etc.

Do not have access to Tamiya masking tape at my local supplier, so I use a mix of Precisso Masking tape and Tesa Painters Tape. After usually one week of drying, Vallejo metal paints and Model Color Sky Gray usually get sticked to the masking tape (even previously treated to eliminate some of the adhesive and using a thin line of bright acrylic polyurethane in the edges).
Maybe the problem is typical weather here (85-95% humidity in air). I had not this problem when living in Britain.
