Top notch! A masterpiece in every aspect: landscape, water, vegetation, tanks and figures, photography as well. I especially like the pictures with sunlight on the scenery.

Hi guys, thank you very much for your kind words. This really helps me to see my models through the eyes of other people. I don't know if you also encountered this eperience, but if I look at my models all the flaws and imperfections kind of scream at me. Anyway, the more I work with representation of water the more I like it.

Very attractive dio, the river and vegetation make it very lifelike! Congrats!

@Jean-Michel: Merci beaucoup !

@Mirko Römer: Thanks a lot! In fact this one was extensivly featured in ModellFan 07/20 (Diorama, 16 pages) and 08/20 (Wiesels, 8 pages)

@Mirko R.: Danke ! Bei einem der beiden (Ich glaube TOW) waren Decals von der 272 dabei die ich dann durch Decals von Perfect Scale ersetzt hab. Als Saarländer war mir der Bezug zu einer "heimischen" Einheit schon wichtig 😉

That scene inspires me for a little song
„Wiesels in the woods, that is what they are,
Feared as fists of god, famous near and far"

Pour them some booze in their jar
or they will run right into the next bar

Album info

Hi Guys,

I made this one last year to train my abilities create nature and water. The idea is that the MK 20 Wiesel and a Paratrooper that is hidden behind a tree are securing the scene while the TOW Wiesel an some other paratroopers are crossing the water area.

The Wiesels are from AFV Club and although they are small kits with not that many parts the shouldn't be undererstimated. One does simply build an Wiesel 😉

The must fun with this project was to create the nature, the water and the waves. Of course it isn't perfect, but I still like this one pretty much and this wasn't the last project with water involved 🙂

Hope you like it !
