Some pressure was required to force the parts into submission 

The fit is 'not perfect' in some places 🙁 

Current state 

So the time came to handle the windshield 

And I managed to break it at the very beginning 🙁 

That the end of part I 

Hope not many people will look at the right front corner :/ 

Squeezing it all to fit each other changed the flight deck geometry significantly 😮 

So, approach 2 to the windshield looks like this. 

I do hope I'm getting there 🙂 

As the fit wasn't best, I decided to add a layer of such a cheap jewellery resin. 

This is how the Swedish fluid plastic putty works in my case 🙁 

What do I currently do? I sand, prime and repeat 😄 

After multiple iterations of riveting and sanding and re-riveting I decided to take a different approach 

Started the wing works 

 

Bit of dry-fitting fun for today 🙂 

Looking for the right shade of pink - famous pink primer on top (benchmark) and my latest mix on the bottom. 

After some trials I decided to strengthen the wings using the old and crooked airbrush needle 

Forcing the rivet decals to conform more, using Mr Cement SP 

Ready for the last layer of pink 

And 1h later 

Unfortunately there are such pimples here and there, not sure I'll be able to get rid of them without ruining the pink colour 

The effect I was moreless aiming for, the rivets are visible only in the closeups 👍
