This is a build of a 1962 vintage Rosebud Kitmaster kit of the British Rail Class 6100 'Prairie' Tank Engine. The class 6100 was also known as the Large Prairie and was build from the 1931 to 1935. 70 locomotives were built. This model is based on the locomotive 6157. This is the first original Rosebud Kitmaster model that I have built; others having been Dapol versions which are nevertheless made from the original 1960s moulds.
