Just a year after I met my wife, she gave me the Airfix 1/24 Spitfire for my 20th birthday in 1975. We built it together, she did the pilot and most of the cockpit and I did the rest.
After my retirement, I decided to stop buying kits and build what I've got. When my wife found out about the new 1/24 Spitfire, she wanted to give it to me for my birthday again, to end an era. In this project I want to look back on all my Spits.
