Sobre mim

I build only Ferrari model kits these days and then only in 1:20th for Ferrari F1 cars or 1:24th for Ferrari Road Cars. Reason being at one time years back, I built anything and everything. (revision here, I have succumbed to adding some 1:12ths to my collection). I had thousands of kits at one time, mostly cars, F1, Le Mans, Road cars, Rally, DTM, Sports cars and any sort of motorcycles, Trucks, Lorries, Buses, Coaches. But as I got older I realized I ain't never going to build that lot in my lifetime, so I restricted myself to anything just F1 or Le Mans, as I still had thousands of kits, even that was too much, so I restricted myself even further. So I now only do what my passion is, "Ferrari's". My favourite kits are Model Factory Hiro, Studio27 and the 1:20th BBR F1 kits and Protar kits. I do have some Tamiya, Fujimi and Hasegawa, but I prefer Multi-media kits these day's. I've only ever supported the Ferrari F1 Race Team and Ferrari Le Mans and Sports Cars, since I was four and a half years old, that was in 1955. I didn't and don't mind who drives them as long as they are fast, fight hard and are determined too win. Alberto Ascari, Juan Manuel Fangio, Jose Froilan Gonzalez, Mike Hawthorn, Wolfgang von Trips, Lorenzo Bandini, John Surtees, Gilles Villeneuve, Michael Schumacher, Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso, stick out as my favourite drivers. Under thumbscrews, as a fighter it's Gilles at the top. As for the technical, tatical, thinking mans driver, it is shared between 3, Fangio, Schumacher and Alonso. Had he of lived longer, von Trips would have been included in that last list as well... RIP Taffy.
