George BaconYes, the white glue gives it a "wet" look after it dries. After the white glue dries, I blend it into the model with paint using a "dust" color via airbrush. Sifting the dry soil to a fine dust is really important to get "scale" dirts particles. I dry the soil in the oven on a cookie sheet, and then sift. My wonderful wife puts up with dirt in the oven, but I bought my own flour sifter to maintain domestic tranquility...
