This is the first kit I've built since I was teenager. It's a bone simple one, but I couldn't resist doing a couple of "things" with it.

Discovering that this kit came with several canopies, I decided that I wanted to pose it with the canopy open. So I got a razor saw, and cut the thing in half. Second, if the canopy is open, shouldn't the door be too? Queue that razor saw again (and the back edge of my hobby knife.)

Probably more ambitious than I should have started with, but well, I like a bit of a challenge, building the thing out of the box seemed boring, and frankly if I messed it up, it wasn't going to "scare me away" or whatever, I'd just go get another one and try again.

My one worry about choosing this subject was masking the camouflage. As a youngster, I never felt that I "got it right"...
