FelixMike, are you not happy with the latest Airfix kits? I think they have done some fantastic work over the last 10 years.

Richard BulmerWell the verdict is in. Most reviewers are saying this is the finest airfix tooling to date. And the scope of aftermarket accessories will only further improve an already spectacular kit. God help my wallet when I want 8 of these

VERY BAD CHIPPINGWtf it has missiles on top of the wing?! Looks too goofy for my taste. Does it have a scheme that doesn’t have missiles on the above?

You can leave them off, I guess. But it happened in other types too, check BAC Lightning.

Jason MarsonPersonally I'm happy with 1/48 scale. 1/72 is too small for my poor old eyes nowadays. lol. I quite fancy doing a 1/32 some time too.

Edit: I was confused by the discussion a bit down, but the 'old tool' mentioned was the airfix 1:72.
Love to see people shocked by the pylons. It's goofy but extremely characteristic of this cool plane!
