A fairly simple kit, a giant pile of resin parts with hand drawn instructions, and some photoetch. I bought this stuff before I realized photoetch was evil, and I've never worked with resin before. A little anxious. 

The struggle is real. 

 

 

The last time any of this will be seen 

 

 

Added some khaki drab and dark yellow to my 35mm film canister full of “nondescript military green” and sprayed the d.xxi. Should likely be darker but in 1:72 aren’t you supposed to make things a bit lighter? Some sort of scale effect I’ve heard. 

Painted the nose this morning… 

 

 

Tail feathers on, some light chipping.
