Looks fantastic when finished, I bought a display cabinet (DETOLF) from IKEA to display. Had to display without the kit’s base to fit the entire model in. The Dragon instructions are pathetic, fair dinkum useless for detail, bought Haynes manual and Apollo 11 In Pictures, books for reference. Another useful reference is John Duncan apollosaturn.com/. The LM, CSM and capsul are from the Dragon 1/72 kit separate kit, with the sprues and instructions added (almost thrown in as an afterthought), it’s so bad that the leg with the ladder isn’t shown in the instructions! Stage 1 seams are hidden by the cable tunnels but stages 2 & 3 are not. Stage 2 body seams are enormous and the two piece curved body parts have waves that can’t be filled. Construction of stage II shows two tank lids in b2 parts when one of the tank lids actually goes into stage I!! Lots of dry fitting and sleep on it before committing to glue. Chaotic sprue designations using upper and lower case for letters e.g. B & b with no reason why. If NASA used Dragon back in the sixties they’d still be looking up wondering. I give it 3.5 out of 10 in the box, 11 out of 10 built.
