Coonest airliner ever

I remember vividly the -200 coming in to land, flying low and slow over the city I lived as a kid. Later on we moved to a village, less than 2 km from the airport, and whenever it landed I took my bicycle and I went to a road parallel to the runway and waited for it to take off. When she roared down the runway, I biked as hard as I could, watching her take off in the distance. Oh the sound... doesn't compare to those ultra quiet Dash 400 of today. Something like 35 years ago.

A bit late to the party - but will follow this for sure... I'd like to have the Eastern Express kit with Olympic decals in my stash - and I've been a passenger aboard most of the Olympic 737-200s several times in the 90s... Too bad the last surviving example (SX-BCA) is most probably going to be scrapped by the "developers" of the now defunct Ellenikon airport... Anyway - good luck with your 'coon, Lukasz!

The Olympic decals are too bright I'm afraid and it's really disappointing 🙁 I have a project in mind to reuse them though, but it's top secret for now.
Meanwhile I think I'm approaching final priming and the will start painting the main colours.

I know Draw Decal does an A319 with the Coon, but I don't think I've seen the new A321 done yet.

I love on the A321 how the Coon image is duplicated on the inside of the winglets.

I think the transparent windshield makes the kits much more real. Had to refrain myself from drilling it in my DC-9 that's next. Díky!
