Inspiration/reference images, help with camo pattern?

In a couple of these pictures, the plane is shown with a different camouflage, it's more rounded and smooth-edged, not digital/pixelated. Any information about that would be much appreciated, because I can't find anything on it and, frankly, while digital camo looks awesome, I'd rather not spend on decals twice as much as I spent on the actual kit.
