This is a very special aircraft.

I intend to paint it in it's Saffraanberg gate guard coulours.

Another kit is used to portrait an active Belgian Air Force plane.

Here is it's history:

Built at Castle Bromwich, Birmingham, Early 1944.
Delivered to Royal Air Force as MK912, March 1944.
- Accepted by 8 MU.
-- Installed military equipment.
- Allocated to 84 Group Support Unit, RAF Aston Down, May 1944.
- Transferred to 312 Squadron (Czech), mid-1944.
- Transferred to 84 GSU, June 1944.
-- Overhauled by Service Training Ltd, Exeter.
- Transferred to 33 MU, RAF Lyneham, April 18, 1946-July 1946.
-- Stored pending further overhaul.
Delivered to Royal Netherlands AF as H-119 (later H-59).
- BOC: July 1946.
- SOC: 1953.
- Shipped to Java, N.E.I., May 1947.
- Allocated to 322 Squadron.
- Returned to Holland, 1950.
Delivered to Royal Belgian AF as SM-29.
- BOC: June 4, 1952.
- SOC: 1955.
- Damaged in 1953 and placed in storage.
RBAF Technical School, Saffraenberg, August 1955-1988.
- Displayed on concrete plinth.
- Painted in 350 Squadron colors, coded MN-P.
