Definitely curious on this! I love the MiG-15 and I have several of these Eduard kits in the closet. They look simple enough but those large shiny metal surfaces always make me a bit nervous.

Hi Thomas. The kit is really nice, will upload some pics soon. I'm not so afraid of painting as at least the Polish ones were quite dull - alu paint overall. Contrary to many western opinions they never wore NMF, so I think Alclad aluminium + varnish should be enough.

Yes, it is not the color that worries me, but that the metalizers make even the tiniest scratch or lump in the primer extremely visible and I am, well, let's say, less than perfect with the airbrush...

I'm a very similar case, so will try to hide all such cases as much as I can😉

Well, your C47 Skytrain is smooth as silk, so you are definitely doing it right! 🙂

It's also finished in satin, not like your lovely shiny Fresco 😛

Watching! Looking forward to watching your progress, Lucasz. I have both the kit and the decals in my stash!

Welcome Gordon. That's going to be my first use of Sagittarius stuff, let's see what they're worth.
