It all began in the late seventies with me sitting next to my dad watching him build Supermarines, Heinkels, and Grummans. Soon I wanted my own project and the first I can remember was a Matchbox F9F in scale 1/72. Back then I finished a model in 2-3 days. Now I need at least 2-3 months (patience comes with age?). I have a habit to hoard kits but you never know when that beautiful Phantom or that cool Delta Dart will be out of production.
