I don't think that the F4F Wildcat needs an introduction. My Academy kit belonged to the veterans in my stash and was actually in the "get rid of" pile when a fellow ScaleMate prompted me to build it. It was to be a quick relaxing build (aren't they all...) and inevitably turned into a relatively detailed affair.

Alec K 作者Lukasz, I have been hemmin' and hawin' about this build for ages. The ACA kit was in my stash for a long time. Had my eye on the new Airfix kit since it came out, but never bought it. Almost bought the Hasegawa kit second hand at the IPMS Nats few years back. Looked and the AZ kits, and now the Arma kit came out. As I was going through my stash the other day, I just pulled the ACA kit from the 'for sale" shelf and added it to projects. We'll see... 🤔

Łukasz GlińskiMine is intended as a rather simple build as I want build either Airfix or AH later on too (the invasion stripes may look cool of folded wings...). Keep me updated, maybe we shall start a small GB?😉

Alec K 作者We probably should. I just saw that Arma is planning to release an F4F-4 this summer, so I was toying with waiting for that. But, the Academy kit still looks pretty good to me.
