Compared to 5080 kit (late) there is little difference between the two despite the years between them and differing versions.
Of course RFM does its best (Like most companies) to disguise the similarities;
Moving the sprue map around, changing the instructions around (Mid starts with turret, late with hull) and adjusting the 3D renders.
The basic differences are the Zim and better detailed engine. RFM tried to sell their improved engine parts - that should have been included in the original kits.
The wheels are obviously different - steel and rubber. But the same errors on the mid have been carried over to the late.
Still no control rods from commanders turret traverse to gunner (two horizontal rods that can be seen through the hatch)
under the turret stowage locker (still using 2 incorrect ammo stowage bins. One was actually for kit and a different shape)
A control switchboard (K19) for the driver is a modern museum fitted fire safety device. Tear that piece off or fear ridicule!
There are a few other inaccuracies but by and large I really like the kits. I have many in my stash and am just trying to improve my skill set before attempting one. As of writing I still think it’s going to be another year

I'm excited to see your build of this model as you had quite a bit to say about my first Tiger build. I'd hope that you have some respect especially for a brother in Christ. Remember that knowledge puffs up, love builds up. Perhaps you should remember to love others and not use your knowledge as you come across as a resounding gong rather than a supportive voice.

I do have respect for a brother in Christ but I'm not sure why you are
"excited to see your build of this model as you had quite a bit to say about my first Tiger build".
Is it because you don't think I can build very well or that you want me to fail to prove your point or that you seek some form of retribution? I mentioned that it will probably be another year before I embark on a RFM build so watch this space. No need for any flame war
