Almost everything, including the camouflage pattern, is the same as the GPM 1/200 paper model kit (2012). The GPM kit is the nice reference for this kit.

Well this came out of left field!
They had long since promised a Dido class.
Hope it doesnt actually stay as a "to be released soon" like their Baltimore.

I am glad I got this kit, not much bigger than a destroyer I guess, however I have a new idea for custom railings that I will try out with this kit, replacing the photo etch with styrene rods and basic thin thread, and so if it works ok, it solves a problem I had with some other much larger kit my work stalled on, having made things too difficult for myself.

In 1/700 no styrene rods scale up for stanchions. I do have some models where I cut insect screening meshes to railing.

Btw, one new feature of this ship kit, seems to be molded ribs under the two big deck pieces, which is nice as it helps prevent the deck from bending/twisting. I don't think I've seen that in other kits anytime before until now.
