What was the point of this kit?? Was it used for artillery purposes meanimg range finding, scouting , or what?? But it does look really neat

Mobile Command Post. Full description is Großes Funk- und Befehlsfahrzeug auf Fgst. Pz.Kpfw. 35R 731 (f). Around two dozen were (re-)build by the notorious Baustab Becker from captured Renault R-35. I'm not sure to which units they went, but probably they were delivered to the Pz.Jg.Abt. that received the 90 or so refitted R-35 vehicles "4,7 cm Pak (t) auf Fgst. Pz.Kpfw. 35R 731 (f)". (Btw: Rangefinding/scouting would be "Panzerbeobachtungswagen" or Pz.Beob.Wg.)
